Dr. Dawit Ayalew is a sports medicine physician at Dynamic Medical Centers who helps active patients of all ages recover from injury and get back to what they love. He earned his medical degree from VCU School of Medicine and a Master’s in Physiology from Georgetown University and completed his fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine through VCU-St. Francis, where he works alongside orthopedic and academic specialists to provide well-rounded musculoskeletal care.
Dr. Ayalew has provided sideline medical coverage for NCAA Division I, II, and III athletic conferences, high school football, and major local races. He uses ultrasound-guided injections and diagnostic imaging to accurately diagnose and treat joint, tendon, and soft-tissue injuries. An avid long-distance runner and competitive soccer player himself, he brings a firsthand understanding of what it takes to return safely to the sports and activities his patients care about.
